# Image Dropdown
Offer a closed list where every entry carries a thumbnail, so visitors recognize the choice at a glance.
The **Image Dropdown** field is a dropdown whose entries each show a small picture beside the text. Use it when the list is too long for a grid of tiles but the picture still helps β a catalog of print designs, a list of flavors, or the model of appliance a repair booking is for.
## π§ How to Set It
1. Open your form in the editor
2. Click **Add element > Selects > Image Dropdown**
3. Configure the options and upload an image for each one.

### βοΈ Field Settings
Only the settings specific to this field are listed here. **Label**, **Placeholder**, **Description**, **Required**, **Hide label**, **Column width**, **Conditional display** and the rest of the shared settings work the same on every field.
### πΌοΈ Options
Add your choices and upload an image for each option.
* **Label:** The text customers see.
* **Value:** The data saved with the submission.
* **Image:** The picture displayed beside the option.
Click **Expand** to view or edit each optionβs label and value.
**Tip:** Use **Bulk add Option** to add multiple choices at once. Then upload images for each option.
### βοΈ Multiple Selection
Enable this setting to let customers select more than one option.
When disabled, customers can select only one option.
### π’ Limit Selections
Available when **Multiple Selection** is enabled. Set the minimum and maximum number of options customers can select.
**Example:** Set Min to `1` and Max to 2 to allow customers to select 1β2 options. The error message will show up if the Submit button is clicked.
## π How It Works
#### What the visitor sees
The field looks like an ordinary dropdown until it is opened. Inside, each entry shows its thumbnail followed by its label.
With **Multiple selection** on, the visitor can pick several entries and each one is listed in the closed field.
#### What gets saved
The field stores the **Value** of each chosen entry, not the picture and not the **Label**.
